DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

Responsible for the development of Oman's tourism product from an infrastructural perspective. Thus its remit includes the following activities:

- Undertaking studies and preparing reports related to tourism development.

- Promotion and fostering tourism development by grant of fiscal incentives that include loans, equity investment, favorable lease rates and grace periods in the early years of operation.
